His parents have the type of home where everyone is always welcome; where you can pick blueberries in the backyard for your cereal in the morning, and flowers for setting the table in the evening. After our original vacation plans crumbled, we decided to travel north with the best of friends, relax and spend time with Zack's family.
This weekend we:
walked through antique shops and marveled at trinkets.
visited the national museum of dance.
hiked through a bit of the Adirondack mountains.
read our books in the shade (and sun) and fed ducks by the pond in the center of town.
wore sunscreen and ate on the back deck, sitting around a fire with best friends into the dark hours.
It was the most wonderful.
