because in husband's absence, brother has been riding 'round with me.

because she may be a late bloomer, but at least she bloomed.

because it tasted like summer.

because, sloppy or not, it was sister's birthday and the toasted coconut was really all that mattered.

because, after moving them outside, we strung a web for the little bean seedlings to grow 'round.
