My Week in Images:
Five little things that made my week:
1. These boots...
and these fallen leaves. |
2. This little light...
because even though we were ready for anything, Sandy did not strike us hard. |
3. These winter coats...
because I finally unearthed them from the chest where they were previously stored. |
4. This radiator...
because it heats up our little apartment. |
5. This cup of coffee...
because somehow husband arrived home from work before me yesterday; I was welcomed home by a ready french press and cups poured for two. |
Did anyone else find ways to get warm and cozy this week?
Lots of tea, coffee, and candles kept us warm this week. It certainly was a cozy couple of days waiting out the storm. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the fact that I got both the front and back yards blown clear of leaves thanks to a guy who came by with an industrial strength blower, that I picked up my pants from the tailor who let them out to accomodate my expanding waistline, that I enjoyed my 4:30 Manhattan which I drink every night in memory of Jean who introduced me to them, and that Greg and I watched and discussed over the phone Stanford's lopsided win over Colorado (where Rick Mihran teaches).
ReplyDeleteAwww, so pretty! Love these little snapshots of fall :) Really cute!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I did take a bubble bath to get warm the other night, which was nice! I like cozying up with this bit of sheepskin I have on my futon, and also, drinking lots of hot cocoa!
Hope you had a lovely weekend, dear!

Indeed, there is nothing quite like keeping warm in the fall. Thank you for the comments!
