Five little things that made my week:

1. These cucumbers...

because, as you know, they were pickled.
And the afternoon spent letting him be the leader in the kitchen was pretty great.

2. This sweater dress...

because its really the comfiest.

3. This rust-colored tree...

because the colors in our yard are so very vibrant these days. Wet and dark and rich.

4. This used book...

because there is nothing quite so grand as randomly finding the sequel
 to the novel you just finished for only $2 at a flea market. 

5. This still life...

because the window sill is piled high with such pretty odds and ends.
