kalua, bottled.

Giving Christmas gifts to co-workers and neighbors can be a tricky business.
We wanted to stick with something edible (so as not to add to holiday clutter) but, perhaps, shy away from the traditional cookie plate. Inspired by a batch of kalua my mother-in-law made back in October, Zack and I spent Sunday afternoon bottling and labeling a few holiday treats those friends and colleagues we see on a daily basis. Routine taste testing, prior to bottling, revealed that this treat was a sweet success.  Recipe can be found here.

Happy Monday, friends!
